Colorado in Minnesota
 

Hey all, been lurking for a few years and thought I would make it official.

I had been driving a 2001 Civic when I found this site and managed a respectable 39.8mpg lifetime.

Wife talked me into a new SUV and I picked up a Mitsubish Endeavor that couldnt break 20mpg downhill. Finally got rid of that truck after 2 years last week and picked up a little pickup.

New truck is a 2007 Colorado 2.9 5spd W/T. Its already got 217,000 miles on it but its been fleet maintained and everything seems to work fine. Extended cab, 6' box, and of course its white lol. Former Plunketts pest control truck.

Wife's in charge?

Welcome. My son has a Colorado with a manual and gets 27-28 mpg.

Do you have any plans to mod the Colorado? What kind of ecodriving techniques do you use? It sounds like there is ample room for improvement.

Plans are in the works for the Colorado, but first I need to find out why the mileage is so bad.
