complete exhaust replacement on the Paseo

Well, the time has come. The existing exhaust on the Paseo is pretty much shot and needs to be completely replaced. I don't want to deal with this again anytime soon so I'm looking to remake it with stainless. However, I also don't want to spend a small fortune on the system so I'd love some recommendations. I'm looking for anything useful here. Mufflers? Cats? Resonators? Flex pipes? I'm doing everything from the exhaust manifold back so there are a bunch of parts that I'll need.

are you going to own it long enough for the extra $$ on SS ?

I don't anticipate selling it anytime in the near future. It only has 75k miles on it. Plus, in my wonderful salt using state a mild steel exhaust lasts about 2 years max.

i'd use mandrel pipe and plan on about a 1/4" or more increase in pipe dia. to start with

Why would you recommend a 1/4" increase in pipe diameter?

less backpressure,,but still good flow

Thanks, but I would have to disagree. My engine never sees more than 3000 rpm which is half of the max rpm. So, the exhaust is already oversized as far as I'm concerned. Thanks for the suggestion though.
