This is absolutely amazing. We look SOOOO normal compared to this guy. :)

He mentions 9A in his OP, and has a photo of eight lithium cells in series. That's 30V nominal, so about 265W!

18,000Lm... that's like 18 headlights, or like one of these with seven CFL's and a parabolic reflector!

It is very awesome. He never seems to say how log it takes to heat soak his heat sink/ mass. I'm guessing not long. If you wanted to use that as a headlight I'd guess forced air cooling would be necessary.

It would certainly set a new standard for the "deer in the headlight" phrase.

Maybe......BLINDED BY THE LIGHT........hey ...that would make a great song....
