That's actually pretty cool. I like the fuel consumed vs. speed graphs near the end of this report. They look similar to what I added to MPGuino. The MPGuino display is of course nowhere near as detailed as what's in the report, though. :)

I suppose that the driver for all the waste will forever remain the elephant in the living room.
We'll design for gridlock and lack of throughput rather than go after the yields,stops,traffic lights and congestion which slaughters mpg.
With intelligent highway,road and street design a garden variety $9,000 car would exceed the mpg of the best $40,000 hybrid.
When govt.revenue is decoupled from the sale of transportation energy products we'll have de-incentivized the entropy which manifests itself in the abandon in which urban development has evolved.
We've hired nothing but arsonists to run the 'fire department.'
