Contacting your congressperson
 

Is it a dreaded politics debate to say that a person MIGHT get further contacting people of influence moreso than the usual general whining?

Got a robocall AND a flyer from the Uhmerican Petroleum Institute saying I should call my congressman and thank him for supporting the XL Pipeline.

OH... I called AND emailed... and it wasn't a thank you. :mad: :thumbup:

But it was probably about as pointless as my usual commentary. We shall see.

I would love to share the contents of my letter to the congressman with you all but the mods or the flames afterwards would probably get it locked up.

There was an article today about an EX-senator claiming this gas crisis is caused by the speculators on Wall st -nothing else...

The way I see it, wall st. is in bed with politicians whom are in bed with big oil. -And the rest of us gets to sleep in the wet spot...

It was just wunna those days. I also cut through a lot of B.S. today in demanding to talk to the president of my natural gas utility, after dealing for two months with city, Public Utility Commission, and gas company peons regarding getting an improperly collected fee refunded. When you get to the top, that's when the ball gets rolling... and maybe the heads of the call center morons that told me to contact the state legislature about it will roll too. :thumbup:

He's just whining because he misses his legalized insider trading.
