It's one of these. Questionable Chinese knock off of a T-Rex. No need to panic over this guy's dodgy tactics, you can pick them up just about anywhere online for $2000-3000.

Doesn't look bad, but too limited performance-wise, considering that I would need a commuting vehicle able to both city and highway traffic...

I looked at these as possible conversions a while back but determined it would be easier to just build my own rather than try to modify one. There payloads are not much on these and would be difficult to make into a hybrid or BEV.

I also prefer an enclosed cockpit all of these are open cockpits. These also would not be able to be driven on the freeways like CR pointed out so ya way to many limitations for these here in the states and in many other places I would assume.

They do sale them however and do have many options to choose from. I had a friend that purchased one not this model but similar for around $5,800. He wanted it just to put around town to and from the grocery store etc.. It has worked good for him. He wants to trade me once I am done with TIGON :-)

An open cockpit is not the biggest problem for me, altough I'd rather get an enclosed one. An aircraft-style canopy would be cool
