I dont know if your going to be looking for a new motor after your done with your part out, but you may want to get in contact with hmotorsonline.com. Im not sure about their d series motors, but Ive had some friends buy their h and b series motors from them and were very pleased. If you do decide to continue with the ultra vx project, could you please post a build thread? I love Honda's and after accidentally stumbling on this site, I'm very interested in the economic potential of these cars. Good luck!

I had contacted hmotors a while back, said they didn't carry the vtec-e. I've purchased a B series through them and was satisfied with the product (other than pubic hair in the oil pan), but any other source for a vtec-e is a hit or miss. There's a bit of irony in the situation, maybe I wasn't meant to have one. On a better note I found a parts car locally with a healthy D16Z6 and have been itching to try some things. I'll definitely post if anything worthwhile comes of it. Thanks for the info.

The little VTEC-E engine has so much potential. Definitely keep us informed if something new pops up and good luck with selling the components.

I do not have an ecu. The iacv I have is attached to the intake manifold and I would like to keep that a complete unit. Thanks
