"Daisy-chain" two SGII's together?

...has anybody tried this -- daisy-chaining two SGII's together to double the amount of displayed data? http://www.fuel-saver.org/Thread-Sca...-II-and-XGauge

...double the numbers, doubles your milage (I wish)?

Doubles the amount of time you spend looking at instrumentation instead of the road, too! :)

I've also seen it done, in a Prius.

if you run multiple scan tools
you should run into update rate problems as the ECM can only respond as fast as it can
More PIDs reporting always slows down each PID update rate

for purposes of storing the info / data .
and safety.
you can log the PIDs as you drive and play them back later
with Speedtracer a free tagalong to AutoEnginuity recently updated to version 5.o with the 8.o1 release of AE
and Escan is threatening to release a similar type of FE calculating software in a future release ...

...interesting, but both beg the question "...where are the data being stored" that those two software programs are evaluating and displaying?

...I'd like to see a simple USB port that you could simply plug in one of the USB "Thumb Drives"...with 16GB currently available, you could surely store a LOT of data!

during the testing -
the data is stored in Mr laptop which resides on the passenger seat or
on the lap of the co pilot

the laptop screen is NOT to be viewed by the driver during the test ,
to avoid
crashing into something
