Seems kind of like a waste of money unless you are doing exhaust heat recovery for something like prewarming water for a pressure washer application.

Impressive.

How does it do that, given the A/F ratio controller is only optional?
Does it suck in extra air to compensate for rich exhaust gases?
If so, it would be a very clever device indeed!

In finland there was a plan in the 90's you could get tax reductions if you installed a aftermarket cat. the system had a lambda controlled valve to suck in extra air for the cat. I wonder how this system works, is it a air bypass thingymajig like in scooters?

I think the world would be a better place if everyone had a cat instead of our vehicles :3
