So where would you put DBD..?

I would defer to anyone who has the ability and facilities to test various cases. Ideally a workflow that incorporates Noyron/PicoGK computational engineering.

Here are three use cases squirreled away in my albums. I don't know the effectiveness of that step on the right.


Just as idle speculation, both walls interior to the jet and the curved flank.

I'd Tuft Test.
Where the tufts start flapping around is where you'd put put DBD.
See what the tufts do after and refine.

(Not that it matters: No one's going to test this, including me at this point. Garage was cleaned out by burglars remember. Most nights the dogs and I have to dash outside and repel such)

Different strokes for different folks. In my case the atmospheric river (more water in the clouds than there is in the McKenzie River) has defeated the carport/shed roof and everything I've hoarded is waterlogged and rusting.
