Diesel Dilemas
 

We own a Ford F-250 that sucks down the fuel anyway...but when you add pulling a pontoon or a bumper pull camper to the equation...GEEZ!

I want to design my own light weight cab-over camper that will not only serve as a comfortable place to sleep, but also provide an aerodynamic function that will help when pulling our trailers.

FYI:I found this site while searching for DIY cabover camper designs.

If your trailers aren't taller than the cab, a cab-over camper will add very much unwanted frontal area.

Maybe a camper with a pop-up roof, even without the cab-over part (unless you could make it also foldable) would be a good solution regarding aerodynamics.
