Thank you!

It will do 77mph on the flat.
65mph up inclines

0-35 is very rapid, due to the cvt. 40 to 70 is quite slow.

I would equate its performance to a 150cc 4 stroke scooter. Problem is that it weighs about twice as much. Cast iron engine!

is the tax based on purchase price or volume of fuel?
seems senseless to me how would anyone even know if you pour a cup of oil into a couple gallons of fuel?

what do they do about oil injection on two stroke ?

Volume of fuel.

We buy fuel in liters, we pay (at the moment) 120 pence per liter of diesel.

If I used waste engine oil, I would have to pay 50 pence per liter fuel duty on that engine oil . They routinely dip fuel tanks around here to check for red diesel in road going vehicles. Red diesel is diesel that is dyed red for use in tractors, generators etc, and has no road duty.

If they dip the tank, it would be black instead of dieselly!

We can, however use 2500 liters of waste vegetable oil on the road, without having to pay road duty.

Nice job! Most bikes are poor in the aero department, so I'd spend time there for serious gains.

In 2005 I converted a Suzuki GS550 and it still runs as good today as it did then and averages 115mpg!

It's great to see another viable Diesel motorcycle project

I remember some people were using VW Beetle tyres on that very same motorcycle model in my country, but it's not really a good choice due to the square-section tread which doesn't make it suitable to the dynamics of a motorcycle.

on the back the square shape is not nearly as important as the front
its also not that square if you get the right tire

the worn out motorcycle tire that came on my kz650 was more square than the new 12" metro tire i got for my scooter
