Yes I saw that. Some extreme claims. Willing to bet a modest sum it never goes anywhere.

I'd like to see the detail drawing of a compound-curve flush side window.

With aircraft, you have airframe and powerplant. A lot of designs suffer from being underpowered. In this case it's a twin-six. ???

I'd like to see the aeroform constructed with nano-scaled materials for neutral buoyancy, reduced wingspan and electric propulsion.

I recall this project based on the image in the 2017 link below.

Cool design, cool designs seem to be ill-fated though.

From an early investor aspect that is usually the case for similar projects in aerospace.

In fact I recently tossed out my 20 year old Eclipse 500 folder. Many changes of hands later and far from budget and timeline it finally made it - a painful journey to say the least. I'm glad that I never put money into it, started by a dreamer.

I dunno, the efficiency improvements wouldn't be that hard. Those bizjets they're comparing with are usually low bypass turbines... real fuel suckers. A more aero design, travelling slower with a sailplane like wing at attitude and an efficient canard design with zero prop wash interference pusher design... I could see it doing MUCH MUCH better than one of those.

Hindenburg, Star Trek, pickle, Johnny Quest, so many good ones.

Hard to pick a favorite.

Celera

Cool! Laminar fuselage! They must have been exposed to the International Human Powered Vehicle technology. They've been doing bicycles and submarines like this for decades. Smart.

I'm perplexed by the increase the cross-sectional area compared to the typical pencil shaped body.

Every time I draw a hump over a vehicle cabin that is higher than needed for headroom it gets shot down.
