display problem?
 

i bought an arduino duemilanove and an lcd keypad module. im trying to upload mpguino and all i get is half the displaay lit up. not even letters or numbers just lit up. ive tried some of the examples for the arduino itself and it works. am i doing something wrong? the displaaaaay used to read "keypad test" until i tried uploading mpguino

ill check the pinouts vs the schemaaaaaaaaaatic online, that is the only thing i can think of other than the lcd being bad

More details on the LCD please. What size LCD? I am going to assume its the standard 2x16. My guess is that the module uses different pins for LCD control than the MPGuino is programmed to use. Go into the code for MPGuino and change the LCD configuration to use the pins that the LCD/Keypad module uses.
