Do aeromods work at city speeds?

90% of my milage is clocked up in the urban enviroment so I was wondering if aeromods work at city speeds?

When bike racing, it is said that aero mods start to be measurable about 10-12 mph. :turtle: When bike manufacturerers test their aero stuff they usually use 25-30 mph. Thus, the more time spent at speed, the more they will help. Aero mods will always help, unless they are really heavy, and cause use of extra energy to start up and stop.

Yeah I am aware of the effect on bikes etc., I use to ride a home design/built velomobile.
But with a car is a 100 or 200 watt drag reduction going to be noticable to FE?
Cheers

perhaps not noticable in the 90%, but it will be there for the 10% highway driving and won't hurt you in the city.

Decreasing engine warm up time is IMO the most worth while mod for city driving. The less time spent at high idle the better. Mileage is pretty horrible while the engine is warming. Look into grill blocking and a block heater to start.
