Hi, can you be a little less cryptic, please? Why shouldn't we buy from this company, and why then should we click on the link?

The link is to a forum, where there is a post about a company that you shouldn't buy stuff from.

I've heard of that scam before. A company advertises a popular item for their cost or a little below. When people order them, they try to sell them overpriced accessories to actually recoup their losses and make a profit. If the person refuses, suddenly the item is "out of stock."

Reminds me of the grocery stores that advertise items at very low prices to get you in, and then are conveniently either out of stock or, "Sorry, that's a typo, and we're not responsible."

This look's like the quote in question, also posted by Ford Man (59?) :

I tried to buy a GPS from Techon Digital. When you place your order online they email or call you on the phone wanting you to confirm the order. Once they get you on the phone they attempt to sell you over priced items. If you don't buy the other items they then tell you the item you ordered is out of stock or they will send you an email saying they are out of stock for 6-8 weeks if they ever get anymore and tell you not to place the order again. Yet they continue to advertise the products on the Internet and the advertisement states IN STOCK.

It's called "bait-and-switch" and it's a federal crime.
