The donut boys made a jet-powered, remote-controlled full-sized car, which jumped 10 buses.

This was a pretty crazy video! :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rri83pDN6kc

Them Donut Boys are at it again. Wait, no, they are breaking up.

I saw a video of some guy reacting to Mr. Beast's jet-powered car, but this one was blue, with more jets, and wings?
It cleared the buses, with a genuine Launchpad McQuack landing.
I couldn't find a Mr. Beast video about it, just seemingly-unrelated ones, like one sending a train into a pit.
Why would I watch that?
Are you not into trains?!
Well, it seemed like this video had several different gimmicks, including a blue Camaro with 10 [smaller] jets, wings, and it indeed clears the buses, but there was no mention of Donut Media.

They just copied Donut's work and stuck with Jet Engine Guy? https://youtube.com/watch?v=fuhE6PYn...IArova1a&t=209 I keep seeing suggestions for this video, but I rarely care about videos about channels I watch, but this guy said that Donut worked nonstop on their two RC Camaros for 30 days, and he didn't even mention them in his video--and the 10.4-minute video was about 8 different gimmicks

Mr. Beast didn't mention Jet Engine Guy in the first video, either, but Donut involved him in theirs.

He did a lot of work!
https://youtube.com/watch?v=h5NvTTOl...Ev2LOvpFZ&t=40 They worked like crazy for 30 days to 56 seconds of Mr. Beast's video--and none of them appeared in it.
Mr. Beast didn't sponsor their video, WD40 did, and it didn't do significantly better than their other videos.

Anyway, I wanted to update the jet-powered car, but just since we have discussed Donut, I wanted to inform you that hosts who have been with them for years have been leaving.

A month ago these two guys announced starting their own channel, saying they were contractually obligated to continue with some projects, but they never did what they were hired to do, and over the four years they worked for Donut, their job resembled that less and less: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YygTo9B_vAc Eleven days ago, this guy, who had been with Donut for 9 years, left. He gave Donut's history, at least from when he joined, and talked about everyone who contributed to their success, but said that they were bought out in 2021, and he had increasing creative differences with their new overlords until they agreed to part ways.

Did he quit?

Did they fire him?

Was this a "I quit!" "You can't quit, I fire you!" scenario?

I don't know, but someone pointed out that we now have 3 car channels to watch.
Someone compared this to Bon Appetit, which apparently had people leave to create their own channels, and then viewers had more content. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvmhY_pbXj4 This guy left Tavarish recently: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tkhqUMVA1uA Apparently, Doug DeMuro chimed in: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQX11KLYvZU YouTube keeps recommending this video by a lady who I don't know: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PaFh16sQBxE

I don't like Mr. Beast for reasons I can't pinpoint, and I don't know why I or anyone else has heard of him.

He always struck me as a tad skeevy, then this:

Those search results don't confirm or solidify why I don't like him. Hazardous conditions don't bother me when people accept the hazards. The show "Alone" is less safe than regular boring life, but that's acceptable since it's voluntary.

Probably I don't like Mr. Beast lavishing gifts to randos he doesn't know, who possibly have horrific drug addictions only made worse in proportion to helicopter money, who certainly hadn't earned it. Even more, I'm unimpressed by folks who give a portion of other people's money away. I'll give away infinity of other's bucks for a 6% commission. That's not virtue, and it's not interesting.

Helping people requires a relationship, not a video camera, 10 seconds, and a bag of money. What people need isn't money. Money is the output of having fulfilled the other needs - living purposefully, in relationship with others, exercising talents, in humility of the One in which one is employed.

While I will not reject a bag of money thrust into my face, neither will any joy derive from it. Taking that one step further, where is the video of the virtuous person who is given unearned treasure, who then rejects it because it wasn't earned? That's the only Mr. Beast video I'm willing to watch.
