DRAG RACING PARTS CAN INCREASE FUEL ECONOMY?
some drag cars and economy cars have a similarity both trying to achive low drag coefficient well some drag cars do generate little bit of downforce for some stability in higher speeds and tend to have have little higher cd due to more cooling (intercooler, and more) but there is also advantage its there weight, they tend to weigh less than OEM look at some examples of civics and lancers.
https://special-carbonfiber.com/imag...46-500x500.jpg its a bumper https://www.jjautowerks.com/cdn/shop...g?v=1571708750 rear wing from mitsubishihttps://stmbuilt.com/products/stm/ex...stalled_rs.jpg and thishttps://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/i...aolddPYDP5ag&s they do look great but there is a disavantage if you use one with intercooler or velocity stack people will try to drag race you:eek: |
My favorite example would be the Cal Look Beetle

My own example:

The powder-coated OEM artillery-spoke wheels are on the car now, those Mangel wheels got rusty. Not proud of the front fender. https://ecomodder.com/forum/member-f...6-100-1255.jpg |
