DuinoStamp for small applications?

Could this be made to work if I wanted to cram something small into a case: DuinoStamp - Hack a Day ?

That board doesn't really add anything? You'd be better off with a single piece of protoboard to hold everything and a narrow 28 pin socket, or two 14 pin sockets and use your iduino to program the chip then swap the chip on to your doohicky when you are happy with the software, IMHO. Refer to openSource PCB thread.

I think you would like the eagle software BTW. You can design and design all day, start with the schematic then layout the board by dragging the components on it and seeing how autoroute does :) It helps too when working with protoboard, or dead bug, so you have some idea where to put everything before you start.

And if you are in a breadboard environment, well get a crystal and a chip with bootloader
Components : Fundamental Logic WebStore, Electronic Kits and Components

Like in the signal generator thread. Which can also programmed on a *duino then popped out of it's socket and pressed onto the breadboard.
