Ecomodder from Southern Germany
 

Hi,
my name is Manuel. I'm from Stuttgart/Germany.
I'm a student at the Unv. of Education in Schwaebisch Gmuend.
My future job is teacher.
I'm interested in cars, tuning and modding:-)
My other passion is basketball (...)
My current car is a Honda Civic Coupe EJ6.
I'm planing to build up a Vtec-E Coupe

Engine Setup:
Cyl.Head D15Z6
Bottom: D16Y7
Tranny: D15Z1
ECU: mapped D16Z6 (with conversion-harness)
Airbox: ITR with K&N Airfilter

I've measured that bottom and Cyl.head built together a "Zero-deck". The only space is from the D16Y8 Head Gasket.
The estimated compression ratio is 10.3/1

I hope that I gain around 130hp/132 lbf ft. My second goal is to drive with over 50 mpg.


So that was just my engine setup, I hope that I can learn some other tricks like Aero-mods ( I want my car to look like OEM but with soft Aero-Mods, no Boat-tails ...)
Maybe there's someone here who's having the same car/setup. Because there are no EcoModders in Germany. Or maybe I haven't met them,yet.
