Ecomodding covered in the Toronto Star

We've had our share of exposure in major online media sources, but this is the first mention of EcoModder in the "mainstream media", as far as I know:

Tips to improve gas mileage

You don't need to splurge on a new hybrid car, a few simple tweaks to your existing ride can go a long way toward maximizing fuel efficiency

Mar 27, 2008

Not everyone who wants to save on fuel and help the environment can run out and buy a new hybrid vehicle. But with $100 per barrel of oil becoming a reality – as did $1 per litre pump prices – how can you modify your existing older car to maximize its motoring efficiency?

And as per the new media world we live in, there's an online community for such "green gearheads" called Ecomodder.com

According to the site, "ecomodding" is similar to the more traditional form of gearhead enthusiasm, hot-rodding. Apparently, they enjoy the technical and mechanical challenges of improving a machine and its driver.

You think they could of made "ecomodder" a hyperlink. Nice though. Is the server up to speed:p

I noticed a small bump in traffic last week, but couldn't pinpoint the source specifically because it wasn't hyperlinked. I found that article by "accident", since there were no "breadcrumbs" linking them to us.

If it had been hyperlinked, I'm sure we'd have seen more than a "bump".

Anyway, yes, the new server is more than up to the task. We've been Dugg once or twice since the last (final?) move, and the admin reported the processor never even got close to 1% capacity. :) Home sweet home, I think.
