Edison Future Electric Truck

Is this the future?

For me this is more stylish than the Cyber truck, but to each their own

It's a gimmick truck, as revealed by the stupid solar panels. I'd short that position.

The one positive was the 6-person seating; among the things Cybertruck failed to deliver. That said, the Cybertruck is a thing that exists and can be purchased with money, unlike all the other "Tesla killers".

If you want stylish you get that, but I think the telescopic aerocap should retract upward at the slope angle so it doesn't rob bed space.

More of an xBus person myself. Also not shipping, unlike the Cybertruck.

That is at least according to the German Portal Elektroauto News.

I'd rather have a $200,000 rental property that would make me money.

The whole question of why this needs to exist comes to mind. Like the Hummer going sideways, an exuberant excess.

It needs to exist to see if it works as a functional concept that Joe average will buy. Edsels come to mind, cybertrucks also. Neighbor next door is leasing a suburban that costs as much as my first house in LA 50 years ago. Don't care about price, monthly payment is what she can afford.

Show me $200 K houses and I would be all over that as an investment because they don't exist here in Reno for the average. Double that to live in a ghetto, or 40 mile commute from the desert boonies and it would still be a steal. No I don't want to live in the boonies of Michigan. Ever hear of Algonac? Oswego? Have family there

My guess is they hope a major manufacturer will buy them out for the patent on the retracting roof.

A real existing Edison truck, a serial hybrid you can actually fix yourself, quickly and cheaply:

Which is what I thought this post was about! :)

These guys opened a crowd funding campaign for 1.5 million USD:
3 hours later they were done!

That means that a lot of people like the serial hybrid concept, which means; happily, there are more bright people than I thought! :D
