Electric FZ16 Motorcycle India: Tork Motors

I have been working on a motorcycle for my daily office commute. Actually got some time as not participating in TTXGP aka egrandprix aka eroadracing......

Let me introduce a custom Kit for Yamaha FZ16 motorcycle.
The motor mount and the battery box are bolted on the existing frame without any welding or extra holes. Controllers DC/DC and chargers are too bolted to the existing frame with an extra casing to support the tank.

Motor: 40bhp peak motor capacity
Controller: 80kw controller on board.
120kmph Top speed. (With a fixed gear ratio)
Battery Capacity: 4Kwh
Peak Torque: 60Nm
80km on a charge city mode (India)
40Km on sports riding
4 hours for complete charge
Weight around: 150kg
0-100kmph: 8.7 seconds
Developed as a engine replacement for the FZ16
The motor mount acts the stressed member with the frame
Complete bolt on design without any welding on the existing frame

What motor and controller are you using if you don't mind me asking?

Thank you!!! The motors are from Agni with little changes and the controller are from Tork.

That's neat - a bolt-on, plug-in kit !

Do you have any idea wether they are or can be made road-legel outside India ?

Can be legalized in UK and Malaysia also, as they have same laws pertaining the transportation. As for the FZ16/Byson is available in various countries like Indonesia, Argentina,Colombia,Chile. I have less knowledge about the Latin American countries though.
This can be registered in UK under single vehicle approval {Link}

This is very economical to make as we can provide the complete wiring loop as a part of the kit.

And once it's in registered in the UK, it can go to all EU countries ;)
Including those countries were single approvals are usually a lot more difficult.

It's a trick used with kit-cars as well .

That's the plan, We have few inquiries, hoping to to deliver it soon.

The website is Account Suspended (is under construction), I haven't made detailed report of the build, but I will surely make this available. Actually I think if all components are in place the build will only take a day ;)
