2010-02-06 397.4 9.61 $2.549 41.35 "Tire change, 185/70-14. Added roughly 2.5 MPG, awesome!!! I might try pumping the tire pressure up to the tires max of 44 PSI. Used middle grade gas this time, 89 octane."
2010-02-14 320.6 8.29 $2.319 38.67 "This will hopefully be my worst gas tank for the rest of this year. I just removed the passenger mirror, replaced the driver side with a smaller, foldable mirror for long trips. I did some more aero mods to the rear bumper, however I drove like crap a couple of times and it really messed up my MPG..."
2010-02-18 313.3 7.92 $2.399 39.56 "Added a driver side mirror back as it was really tough on me to constantly be turning and looking over my shoulder, and it makes it much nicer to back up the driveway at night. Heck, I even installed 50watt back up lights, which did help a ton. Any who, this tank I drove more around 70 to 75 on the freeways, however I slightly started to get into doing some EOC. On my next tank, I am going to do lot of EOC and see just how much it can help. I want to say the aero mods are working as I can drive at a faster pace on the freeway and get better than I was before with out the aero mods, thanks guys!!"
2010-02-26 390.5 9.24 $2.479 42.26 "On this tank I drove as much as I could with traffic, except for getting up to speed, which I still do very slowly. 87 octane was used again, and I think I'm going to stick with 87 from here on out, unless I see some deposits on the plugs or if I can hear audible detonation. Oh, BTW, I did do quite a bit more EOC on this tank, but it worked out this time. I can drive just about with traffic most of the time and I am still managing in the 40's, MPG wise..."
