end wash = barge boards = end plates

ok so were changing our cars front wing from this

to this wing

It will be mounted in front of the curved front piece (and without the silly brackets)

My question is regarding end plate design and shape and also end wash, I plan to make the end plates so that the air is helped over and around the front tires.

and also I want to make some 'barge boards' to go roughly as marked below, so that the air goes around the bottom of the body

Anyone got any hints/tips/advice???

Oh and the fire extinguisers will be moved too.

thanks!

There was a thread on the motorcycle forum here that talked about a disk mounted in front of the bike to reduce drag. I suppose a couple of flat "canards" at the back ends of the winglets would do a similar thing to the front tires??

I would look at top views of f1 cars of the barge bord era. Roughly emulate how they shape the boards around the sidepods. Experimentation will be your best bet.
