I posted about a guy from BBC Radio 4 doing a drive round Europe in an Electric car here :

Which attracted no interest at all ;) The same guy has restored/just started a radio series about restoring an electric car Pioneer - the Enfield Thunderbolt :

The program was pretty good, including interviews with loads of people involved. Although the Beeb limits access to the UK there are loads of tutorials online about how to listen to download these programs.

PS - Another BBC Video of the car at the time on a Children's TV program called Blue Peter (a major part of my youth to be told - a childhood hero of mine is in this one).

Looks rather like a slightly "classier" version of a Golf Cart.

I have a download of program 1 not sure about posting it though - the beeb has issues with downloading but offers downloads itself...

Nothing much has changed it seems.
They still take hours to charge and cost two cars ...

And like Tesla it involves a mysterious genius who is in charge but nobody really knows what is going on.
