EOC killswitch in an EFI car with a distributor

I'm trying to decide whether to cut ignition or to cut injectors.
On one hand, cutting spark can cause ignition in the tailpipe and cool FLAMES AND BACKFIRING YEAH SUBARU YEAH
On the other hand cutting fuel is easier to wire
Anyone have an opinion on which method to go with?

ended up just splicing into the ignition switch.
post count is too low, will eventually post a picture.

Kayweb: feel free to make a few dummy posts, and then you can add images/links.

I spliced into the crankshaft position sensor on my Firefly/Metro with distributor. When it goes open circuit, the engine stops. I presume it cuts both fuel & spark if it deems the "problem" to be serious enough to stop the engine.

I actually spliced two different leads on the ignition switch: one for the starter and the other for the ignition system.

Ends up looking like this. The orange toggle glows when its getting current, I'm really stoked about it.
