Yep, they show up on Ebay all the time, along with a few of the electric motors that they used.
The Chevy S10 factory built electric is more common and uses the same drive electronics as the EV-1.

I found the specs for it too. 4731lbs!

The Motor shows up everywhere, they sell for <$2000. Mavin sells them in bulk but you can get just one or two for $2000 a piece. It's called a Siemens/Ballard AC motor, it's rated for 33kw continous is watercooled, weighs 150lbs or so and a inverter/controller is hard to find for it.

But someone homebuilt one so it's possible he might start selling them. Tischer is the guy.
