Ever get carried away?
One of my buddies had been hounding me about my old IDI Diesel for quite some time. I decided what the heck, gave him a number, and he handed me a wad of cash.
Another guy wanted one of my bikes. A Yamaha thumper. It went out the door a couple days later. I decided, what the heck, and put my Pontiac up for sale. It left last week for the asking price. A guy that knew all the work I'd dumped into it had his niece come look. I just realized, I don't have a car. Just the company truck now. Well, not entirely true, I still have my Drag car. But I'm not going to drive that anywhere. It's a bit too high spirited for a license with no points against it. So now I need to come up with something to drive when I don't want to put miles on the company rig. (It's OK, I can drive it all I want, but that doesn't seem right to me.) I've started looking at 2007 Chevrolet pickups with the 5.3 Aluminum mill. I love those pickups. Great economy with towing capability. looks like it'll set me back 12 to 15 K for a nice one. Still feels great to get out from under all the stuff! Anybody else clearing house? CJ |
I will be in a few months when I move back to NY from SC. A lot of it's getting donated since I don't want to lug it back with me. And throwing away perfectly good, if ugly, shirts and kitchen things seems like a crime. I'd much rather someone get another use out of it.

I’ve never seen it so that might be a reason, but possibly some poor advertising…
