The differing wheelbase variants will house the battery and range options. These are speculative renderings that are registered patents in Japan. The busy-detailed design still has the twin kidneys in front, top hood EV controller heat venting, suicide rear doors, upright tall hatch form, and the corporate brand 'split C-pillar' similarity to the i3 and i8. The size and model design fits the i5 model. In EV form, it will have electric motors front and back and a hybrid will have a 3 or 4 cylinder ICE engine in the front.
