Exhaust direction (to fill in turbulence)
Exhaust gases is an option to fill in negative pressure for example back of car. This is possible because of high pressure of exhaust gases.
My Espace 3 has rouded smooth van style big ugly butt. Exhaust direct to downwards so propably much high pressure benefit is lost because of wrong direction. Has anyone tested redirection effect? Any estimates of benefit? |
The exhaust from an internal combustion engine is corrosive. Possibly from the water. Stainless steel parts are indicated.
If you fill the entire wake with exhaust, there are health considerations. The cabin might fill with carbon monoxide. That said I've considered a system that feeds a Coanda nozzle as the end-cap of a boat tail. Reduce the wake to a single vertical line and then inject hot gas at the very end. What could possibly go wrong. https://ecomodder.com/forum/member-f...ed-stinger.png The one at lower left. |
