The final stage on the kit is to apply a synthetic, UV protecting wax to it. The other set I did months ago is still crystal clear.

Ack! MPG is not linear and not comparable! (Sorry, this is a pet peeve of mine. I am almost the MPG police at this point, lol)

8 MPG = 12.5 gallons per 100 miles
10 MPG = 10 gallons per 100 miles
12 MPG = 8.33 gallons per 100 miles

Moving from 8 to 10 MPG is a savings of 2.5 gallons, but 10 to 12 MPG sees a smaller savings of 1.67 gallons

28 MPG = 3.571 gallons per 100 miles
30 MPG = 3.333 gallons per 100 miles
32 MPG = 3.125 gallons per 100 miles

The differences here are 0.238 and 0.208 gallons respectively.

There are 4 different jumps of 2 MPG and they are all of different values.

That's nice.

Yeah, I get it. Losing a couple of MPGs when you're in the 30s is a lot less painful than when you're in the 20s. And all the more impressive that it's only a couple, considering, which is factored in to my elevated level of appreciation for this little contraption.

Per EPA or real world?

Don't forget EPA testing methodology handicaps manual transmissions -- it's easier to exceed any manual rating, and by a bigger margin than the auto.
