Hi
Let me tell you a little about myself. I've been driving since gas was 45 cents a gallon. When I started driving I un-ecomodded cars. Although some of the thing we did improved gas mileage if only slightly, it was not our goal.
Fast forward. My current car is a 06 Gran Prix. With a 30 MPG highway rating not bad. Have been at 28 to 29, found I have a front brake problem or it would have been higher. It is not a daily driver like a lot of your cars, so in need inexpensive mods that work and not a lot of testing because my main method of saving gas is keep it parked. So all you GP ownesr I will be looking for your help. And if I ask the same question one thousand newbie have asked have patience and please point me in the right direction.
And my first question shouldn't the front air dam be below the lowers sub frame?

As for the air dam, yes it should be lower then the under side of the car.

Welcome! I've worked on most all generations of GP - a 92, 99, 00, and 06 myself. While I may not be able to answer everything, I can try!
