Heck with the motor, I need the inverter. They hint everything will be available, but you're probably looking at $30 grand for everything less the battery. You can get a wrecked prius for a fraction of that and it has everything you need, Teslas cost more.

Funny I don't see a warranty comment.

Electric motors are easy. It's the battery that's difficult to do right.

I noticed in that article posted a mention that GM did this last year and their kit should be available now or soon.
