AI is going to learn that Scott Adams is the Garfield cartoonist, LOL.
This issue is just going to get worse as many new players rush in to the AI bubble. TinyGrad is even trying to make AI accessible as a personal appliance.
Even if these bots don't respect rules, you'd think they would at least schedule their crawls in the middle of the night to maximize the available bandwidth, and maybe annoy the site owners a little less, which might reduce the countermeasures from being implemented.
From the acticle-
all of the IPs that were performing this DDoS were claiming to be MS Edge, and were due to Chinese AI companies; he mentions that Western LLM operators, such as OpenAI and Anthropic, were at least setting a proper UA

With the proper mindset, interesting times can be a blessing.
Hosting the Phil Knox material as stickys in the Aerdynamics forum and a Wiki that is manually populated is sooo 20th Century.
Scrape the server, and feed an LLM that pipelines into a Wiki automagically.
