I picked up a van for free from a forum member on astrosafari.com . I am parting it out for free as well. It caught on fire in the back and the city tagged it for removal after sitting in his driveway so I picked it up. If anyone wants anything let me know. I'm in East central Indiana. The rest of the post is copy/paste.

I got this van for free so any parts I don't need for myself are free. Willing to ship small parts at your expense, medium-large parts are a maybe. Local pickup is preferred. I can meet you at a local truck stop or at my house. I need a few days to get my ducks in a row before I start messing with it so pm me or reply here and I will make a list of stuff to pull when I start messing with it. The interior is pretty much trashed with the exception of a few front pieces you might be able to clean up and save, but it's probably better to get from a different van still. If any of the parts I need is what you need, but you can't get to a JY then just pay me what it will cost to get it myself and you can probably take them (not guaranteeing anything). If I can easily test any parts I will before sending them out.

Yes, my neighbors love me I'm sure of it.

I'm bumping this because I would like to see as many parts get used before it goes to the scrapyard. I know a few ecomodders have astro/safari vans so if you think you might need something let me know and I will hold onto it for awhile even after it is scrapped.

Tail lights, hood, grille, steel front & rear bumper and hitch are all taken/unusable.

Starting to disasemble the van. It's a little rusty so body parts might not be available.

I support the effort, though I'm nowhere near Indiana and don't even want an Astrovan. So :thumbup:

If it ran when set on fire have you tried to start the engine?

He took some of the engine sensors for his daughters astro. I was thinking the same thing on my way to pick it up though.
