One owner with a clean Carfax. This is a hard to find Jetta Hybrid model that gets 50 mpg like the diesel but without the diesel drawbacks. 170 horsepower from a 1.4L turbo engine combined with a 7-speed DSG automated manual transmission means this car is the performance car of hybrids. Engine off silence at stop lights and all electric drive for short distances and in stop and go traffic make even traffic jams nearly enjoyable. Fully equipped with moonroof, navigation, backup camera, front and rear parking sensors, blind spot alert, etc. Beautiful pearl white glows in the sunlight and car has no paintwork. Quarter size cut in rear bumper, shallow dent in right rear door with no paint damage and left corner of front bumper slightly misaligned from fender. Has about 159,000 miles. Car has been fully serviced including new Mechatronic unit, new timing belt, new plugs, new filters and fluids, new brakes, new tires. VW finally went to timing belts on these models eliminating timing chain stretch which destroys many engines with tensioner problems. You shouldn't need major maintenance for another 150,000 miles. Photo album at: http://www.fototime.com/inv/8CCFD8E8E13BDDB Will ad interior pics next week. Priced at $8,995. Located in the Washington DC area but can deliver. atikovi@email.com

Diesel AND hybrid. Sounds like a great car. GLWS.

Not a diesel actually.

Seems a good price for a nice car, VW can't seem to get a timing chain right and seller is definitely right about a belt being the better choice in this case. Nice also to see the transmission has been replaced, VW's DSGs are notorious.

160k miles in <3 years is pretty impressive. If you don't mind my asking, what was your drive like that you put so many miles on?

Ati fixes up cars and resells them. He probably didn't do the mileage on this one.

He does a great job of it, too.

Whoops, didn't see that. Still looks like a great car.

No, not the transmission itself but replaced the Mechatronic unit that controls the shifting. The DSG transmission itself is pretty strong being basically a manual transmission. It's the controller that goes out most often.
