Should have worn one of those to the Metro's e-test appointment last week. :D

Always thought "check engine" was the wrong label to put on that light. I can just see people getting out, opening the hood, saying "Yep, engine's still there", and going on their way.

James, that is about the extent of me inspecting a car.

That would have been great on my Echo...three years of a burned up cat, I became good buddies with the constant P0420, and letting that little light of mine shine. Good thing they aren't emissions testers in my county, just get the thing good and heat soaked before taking it in and clear the CEL...that and doing some "southern engineering" on the rather screwed up horn pad got me through many an inspection.
