Getting a water cistern

For my camp :-) Upgrading from 55 gallons of rainwater storage to 300+ Gallons :-).

Scored it for$200 Delivered/ installed.
Concrete, Steel stand

It will be showing up on Sunday.

Maybe now I'll be able to stay longer while it isn't raining.

Awesome. What is your method of collecting rainwater? Also, do you take any measures to keep the water fresh (bleach, aeration, etc.)?

I would like to collect rainwater in 55 gallon rain barrels next season, so any advice would be helpful. :)

Whoo

19feet Circumferance 6 foot depth Looks like 150 Cubic feet which equals 1122 gallons

Old setup had a gutter on just the bathroom, now we'll use a 26 foot gutter collecting on 280 square feet of roof. Bear in mind this is just a camp, it isn't used very much of the time. . .

Drain pipe is damaged, will require some repair, no big deal, but doesn't hold water just yet.

Apparently the guy I got it from was paid $500 to remove it from someone else's property (for insurance reasons). So he basically moved it for $700.

Hey, sorry for the slow reply.

I'm installing gutters with the largest size downspout, and covered in the snap on screens available at lowes. The downspout I'm running is the flexible one at lowes.

I'm in the process of repairing my water outlet, so no water in the tank yet.
