Received the paperwork for the GP, recalled for the ignition switch. The switch was replaced once several year ago, stuck in run position.

Well, on the bright side it sounds like they're being preemptive about it rather than pretending the problem doesn't exist until they get in trouble for it, so that's a start. It's a shame this stuff keeps happening so much though, Chevy's lineup in particular looks rather awesome right now (aside from the upcoming Cruze refresh, which is mind-boggling).

Called the local GM dealer about the recall. The notice said to schedule a visit after the first of October to schedule a visit. They don't' have the parts "we will call when the parts come in". :(
