Interesting.

quick web search for golf head mph - "Definition: "Clubhead speed" is a measure, in miles per hour, of how fast the clubhead of a golf club is traveling at the point it impacts the golf ball. Clubhead speed can be recorded by a launch monitor or other radar-employing device.
On the PGA Tour, a typical clubhead speed is 110-115 mph. On the LPGA Tour, 90-100 mph. Most "average" golfers don't approach those speeds, although some big hitters can exceed what the pros typically average. But a typical recreational male is probably swinging somewhere in the neighborhood of 85 mph, while a typical amateur female golfer is probably around 60 mph."

animation?

It looks like animation, not a real wind tunnel experience.
Typically, the test section would be upwind of the fan and the smoke would be applied upwind of the test model.
They're thinking though.
Calloway is putting VGs on their 'Octane' driver.
Golf! What's a sane person to think?

Yes the video is animation but they actually test their driver heads in the wind tunnels and other tests. I took few ideas from their speedline driver heads to car mirror design. Their purposes are pretty similar. Design as big contac area= mirror area with minimum drag. Current car mirrors have pretty similar mirror shapes ares that golf drivers have contact areas ;).

But a golf club has the flat surface at the front while a car mirror has it at the back. They're completely opposite!

If you just look the surface area they arent. You just need to put the clubhead first on mirrors place where you will get the place for mirror glas. After that rotate clubhead 180 degrees and make the clubhead little big bigger and make the face area round with wire mesh. Few other mirror aerodynamis changes like the side which is facing cars A-pillar needs to be modified.

I think I took the surface area from this model:

After few tweaks it started to look pretty similar than this MK5 golf mirror:
