Good looking back ends?????

Of cars that is......

I'm designing a NARROW car.

3 feet tall. single tire in the rear.

I can easily run a 20 degree angle on each side, and get down to a knife edge, which is the ultimate in aero, but looks goofy.

Or, I can leave it "wide" and have a 10 inch wide flat back complete with overhang and make it look like a Prius.

Must mount motorcycle license plate, brake lights and turn signal lights.

What looks good? Suggestions? Stuff I can steal or copy?

3' tall?

top of the car will be 42 to 44, depending.

but from the top it slopes down a bit as it heads back, so yes, 36 inches at the back.

why?

I was thinking it might be tough to the get ergos you seek in a 36" tall vehicle.

Make a narrow version of the Oldsmobile Aurora

Or how about the 300zx? Simple ovals mounted behind a flat sheet of Lexan and you've got it.

How about the Voisin, as I'm reading about just now

Rear wheelbase was originally 1/2 that of the front but it tipped over so they widened it.

great ideas. very simple, yet looks good!

Others?

Not technically a three-TIRED vehicle but actually still three-WHEELED! In the same vein of a narrowed rear track for aero advantages. T3 Motion Inc

Do you have a plan view of your design? You can have as much as 22-degrees taper, but it's very important how you transition into it.

I am going to post some pics tonight of the frame. You can get an idea of the overall plan.
