I'm not a human, I'm Scottish; and now I need find out what a PC800 is in RoW terms - most models exist everywhere, but are sold under different names and model numbers.

Ha ha. I'm not Georgian either, I'm an Englishman living in Georgia!
I'm very familiar with the PC800, it's not a bike I have actually owned but I have ridden one. I have not the remotest idea about components yet, still in the preliminary stages of planning.
