Grid Charger connections

First would like to thank all for this resource. Takes some of the mystery out of the hybrid vehicles.
I have a 1st gen Civic, 2003, that has an IMA light on. I finally built a basic grid charger hoping to charge the pack up and and balance it. I got the schematic from 99mph.com. I connected the charger to the battery's output terminal but have not been able to get the pack to charge. I am guessing there is a different spot I need to connect the charger to? Thank you for your help.

I would compare the instructions to those on this site: Hybrid Automotive - Grid Charger Installation Instructions

See post #93 in my thread:

The IMA system should be laid out nearly identically in our cars.

The IMA from the civic and insight are completely different. Ours lays flat while civics sit sideways. The routing and the fan harness installation is also different by a lot.

My bad. I assumed since it was the same basic system... yeah. :o

Sadly, no its not. I don't understand why Honda went with the wacky way they did it, but I guess it is what it is.

The temperature finally got to double digits on the weekend and got the ambition to shovel the car out of the snowbank and play around with the battery. Charger appears to be working now. Have LED light and voltage at 156.7 when charger on. The battery was totally flat sitting in the cold for couple months. Will see what happens. Thanks for the help with the charger connections.

This morning I checked on the grid charger and charging LED was off. Power supply still putting out power but main battery terminals have no voltage on them. I read 175.6 V on the terminals where the grid charger is connected, that is without the charger on. Is this normal not to have voltage on the main battery terminals when the vehicle is sitting? The grid charger was on for about 8 hours last night.

Battery charging

Just want to send an update. I hooked the grid charger to the connections from the linkk and have been able to charge the battery. The IMA light has been off and I was actually able to get the car through inspection!! I have been charging the battery about once a week overnight and have seen improvements on the packs charge and discharge rates. Thank you all for you help with this. I can actually use the car again. Wish I had done this sooner!!

I know i digging up an older post, how is your grid charger working out? Are you still getting good results?
Where did you source your power supplies?
