Gulf coast hypermilers
 

I'm looking for hypermilers in the Mobile Alabama area. I'm trying to do a story for WKRG News 5. Feel free to give me a call when you can. 251-442-4906. We'd love to talk to you and demonstrate the techniques.

I'm not from he gulf coast , but props to the media outlets for expanding hypermileing to the masses.. really if every one did this we would not have as big of a fuel problem like we have now .. imagine every car in the USA was using even 10% less fuel.

Thanks Ebach. The hardest part is finding someone that strictly adheres to this doctrine like Wayne Gerdes. I've also found there are two kinds of mechanics on this issue:
1. Those that haven't heard of hypermiling
2. Those that have heard of it have been recommending many of the same techniques hypermilers use for years.

I've been looking all day and the best I can do is message board posts, but hopefully someone from around here will see it.

But then you wonder whether you really want someone like Wayne or someone who drives like they don't have a death wish

Thanks for the heads up--sadly that's out of our area, it's another TV station's territory. I'm still looking :)
