Is having a hole in my head better than having a screw loose?
I lost bone around the implant and my old dentist is removing it. She said she will give me a quote for a bridge, but I don't know how that would work out since the back tooth has an implant (in my trunk).
Remembering is hard! I thought it would be weird if someone from the dealership opened a box with broken teeth, but it would have been nice if this dentist could recement them. How do I Heli-coil my own jaw?! |
"How do I Heli-coil my own jaw?!"
..you start with a good slug of whisky!! Years ago, I had a large amount of bone removed; some surgically, some by the absess growing there. It took a LONG time to completely heal. Good luck! |
So you're saying there's a chance!
I do not like the idea of missing bone! |
You're only young?
Good diet, no cigarettes, easy on the booze...you can recover from most things. |
I try to take care of my cars, too, and that is a losing battle, but they don't heal.

Fewer teeth means fewer dental problems.
My Metro has taken to not sweeping the wipers as far and then slapping them on the hood. |
loosen whatever device holds the arms on, remove arm , reposition, reinstall locking device. Generally they should be about an inch from the bottom of the window.

Thanks. I suspect some cable mechanism because they are in synch, but that's within the scoop of my capability.
I'm still starting it with a screwdriver. The replacement steering column just sits there and doesn't install itself. I think Xist is being a bad influence on me. :( |

You "heli-coil" your jaw with a bone graph. You keep from losing another implant with excellent oral hygiene that includes daily flossing. Bone loss is caused by bacteria between the gum and tooth / implant generally from excess plague buildup. (And this reminds me that I need to step up my flossing - as my wife and dentist continue to remind me on a regular basis) |
I've wanted dentures from the moment I knew they existed... also wanted a powered wheelchair from the moment I knew they existed.

Oh heck.
One does not simply regrow jaw bone. These guys lost vastly more than bone mass! https://ecomodder.com/forum/attachme...1&d=1675923780 Did they actually use their own jaws like suckers or did they drink all of their nutrients? The dentist said they cannot reuse any of the expensive hardware I brought in. The very first crown I received was the one that came loose first and the tooth opposite it attempted to fill the wake, so they said only a gold crown would fit, and the dentist still felt it was necessary to grind the tooth that moved in the way. He hadn't anesthetized that tooth. They said that will cost at least $600 and I think they are supposed to replace the other crown for less than that, but when I asked about the implant they said that I would need a new system--a new titanium screw, a new abutment, and a new crown--for the low low price of $3,200. The manager, who I have known for decades, suggested finding dental insurance without a waiting period or a missing tooth clause. She seemed to believe they exist (and are worth mentioning). Dave Ramsey says that extended warranty companies pay out 12% of the money they take in, so if you just put your money in the bank, you would have 8 times as much to show for it. I feel like insurance that would cover a significant fraction of a $3,200 implant system would have monthly payments that more than compensate. It was weird. I saw 2 dentists in 2 days and nobody said "You need to stop eating candy and drinking soda all the time! You need to start brushing your teeth!" The lady today said that crowns eventually fail. However, I mentioned that my old dentist had me come in for a deep cleaning every 3 months, and they told me that I need to start that again. I usually flossed every day because I almost always had food stuck between my teeth. It hurt! I didn't have a cleaning for 5 years, though. The dentist put a temporary crown on my back molar, but I don't know what good it will do me since I am missing the tooth directly in front of it, and I plan on sticking to soft foods for a long time. |

I think you want a "nutsert" instead of helicoil. They're threaded on the outside also with L H. THREADS.
|
Get a bag of GUM Angled Flossers. Put a few in places such that there is always one nearby. Your dentist will be amazed and ask how you did it.
|
Hide flossers in my teeth? You are right! They would be surprised! :)

Dentistry is a dismal science. For twenty years I asked dentists when I could get a new tooth grown from a plurepotent stem cell. They all said 'not until I am retired'. Now of course with mRNA CRISPR technology it should be possible to inform every cell in your body that you deserve a whole new set of teeth.
In your case though, bone scaffolding has been possible since 2014. Quote:

Great! How do I make claws extend and retract from the back of my hand?! :)
|
I think it requires some sort of hideous radiation treatment that either kills you or grows those claws. Didn't see the origin movie but it's a common Marvel way they aquired those odd traits. Could also be an exotic disease messing with the DNA unless you have witchy tendencies or possibly god like origin.
|
Yes, well, they ripped holes in his flesh each time.
Everything else about his claws was magic. |
