You're correct, but temperature is also a heat quantity, stored and currently unuseable
IF you can transfer it somewhere in bulk.
You can have a lot of low temperature heat. eg: a hot day
Or you can have a tiny spark at 1000s of deg C, but you wont be causing a hot day with it..!
The confusion of heat and temperature is everywhere and a source of great amusement/sadness.
