Hello

Hello, I have been getting excellent information and inspiration from this website for some time now.

In my garage are a '92 Paseo (manual), a '93 Previa and a '96 Accord. The Paseo used to be my daily driver until the engine conked out at 287K miles. So while I'm waiting to find a used Paseo engine, I am driving the Accord and trying to get used to an automatic transmission.

I have been using one MPGuino with all three vehicles. When I am able to post I will be sharing the MPGuino installation guides I wrote for the Previa and the Accord.

Thanks for posting and sharing such useful information!

that Paseo is a little car!
Bet the accord feels big.

I always recommend to raise the psi in the tires to 40-45.

Thank you mcrews. You hit it on the nose! I really felt the difference between the Paseo and the Accord (especially with the MPGuino on). I can get 47 MPG on the Paseo, but so far my best tank on the Accord is only 36 MPG. Still much better than the Previa though (21 MPG best iirc).

Besides raising the pressure to the max stated on the sidewalls (50PSI) on the Accord, the only other change was to my driving habits. I feel the need to start modding the Accord now.

I'd like to ask for help in making a TC lockup switch for an Accord, I think it will help a lot with my highway commute. I spent a good part of the weekend researching into it, but am confused:

Does anybody know why are there 2 (two) lockup solenoids for the Accord? TIA for any answers.

start a thread w/ making a Txxx Cxxx lockup switch for an 19XX Accord as the name.
Most regulars dont read the 'intros'

Welcome to the site. Sorry to hear the Paseo is broken down. I drove mine for quite a few years. The wife is currently driving it now, but I was able to get some amazing mileage out of it.
