Hello all..

I am a young enthusiast who has not yet started his first project. I have experience working on cars, in particular, a jeep turbo diesel. I am interested in all things turbo diesel hybrid. Oh , and I like old 80's cars, especially european-made.

This turtle seems really popular. Does it have a name yet?

See you around,

A turbodiesel Jeep what? I doubt if it's a Wrangler, but it would be awesome (and highly custom) if it were.

Jeeps don't get a lot of play here. Only a half-dozen have been updated in the garage since the beginning of the year. Start a garage page for yours and give Jeep more representation.

To paraphrase the song, "If you can't hypermile the Insight you love, hypermile the Cherokee you're with."

Wow, that stunk. It sounded better in my head.

No, it didn't. Not really.

Jeep

Oh boy...
It's an '05 jeep liberty CRD (turbo diesel), can get 45mpg if you disable/remove "certain things" and give it a tune-up.

Thing is a pain to work on, imagine an over-sized German engine stuffed into an american frame originally designed to house a gas engine.

I used to work with a guy who had one. I think he was getting 29 (mostly highway) after the tune. Welcome.

If you want to off road with it, remember, highway tires and then put snow chains on them when you go off road.
That way you are not wearing out a set of very expensive mud tires every 8 or 9 months.
