Hi folks, I've been getting into hypermiling lately and decided to join the forum after reading several useful articles from here.

With the tips I've learned, I improved my fuel economy in the city from 15 MPG (calculated with the trip odometer and fuel receipts) to the most recent fill up with 19 MPG.

I'm very interested in making fuel-saving modifications too, and my car has a lot to improve on. I hope I can somehow contribute to the community as well!

Welcome! Great community here, and it seems like you've already got the ropes down...forum, mods, nut behind the wheel....One thing that helped me immensely was the search function, the crazy ideas you'll start getting have probably already been done and/or researched- it'll save you some time :)

Since you live in Arizona, have you never even considered using a swamp-cooler instead of the air-conditioner while driving?
